Call for Submissions: Earle Haven Retirement Village

Ms Kate Carnell AO will examine the circumstances leading to:

  • the collapse in the provision of aged care services delivered by People Care Pty Ltd at the Earle Haven Retirement Village
  • the events that occurred at the site on Thursday 11 July 2019 and their aftermath.

Submissions are sought from people with direct experience of the aged care services provided by People Care Pty Ltd and of the events on 11 July 2019.

Submissions can be provided in any format. This might include:

  • a written statement
  • email
  • photos or copies of relevant documents

You can also provide information over the phone.

How to make a submission

When making a submission, please explain the way you were involved with the services provided by People Care or the events of 11 July 2019.

Submissions can be made confidentially.

The Inquiry’s terms of reference do not include a more general review of the aged care system.

These matters are being considered by the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety which is also accepting submissions.
